Rockwall County Commissioner David Magness has announced that he will seek a fifth term as Commissioner in the March 2018 Republican Primary Election. Magness represents Precinct 4, which is the northeast quadrant of the county and encompasses Fate, Royse City and parts of Rockwall.
Commissioner Magness is committed to providing leadership, experience and influence to make Rockwall County the most desirable place to live and work in the metroplex. His years of community involvement as a commissioner, trustee and community leader have given him first-hand experience and opportunity in helping to build a truly great area.
Because Northeast Rockwall County (Precinct 4) is one of the fastest growing areas in the State of Texas, innovative solutions are required to meet the area's needs. Magness has worked extensively with the Mayors and Councils of Fate, Royse City and Rockwall to ensure cooperation in meeting the needs of the citizens of Precinct 4
Magness leads Rockwall County's $120 million Transportation Plan and sees improvements to transportation infrastructure as the key to economic development, job creation, improved property values and a a better quality of life.
